CHALK TO SEA
Working with:

Norfolk FWAG
Norfolk Wildlife Trust

Norfolk Rivers Trust
EA Lead:
Amy Prendergast
Organisa}ons working in the River Tas catchment
have come together to develop a common vision
and fund a strategy for the catchment which will
iden}fy opportuni}es for river restora}on,
natural nood management, restoring biodiversity
and landscape connec}vity.
Key drivers are concerns around water
dependant habitats drying out, habitat
morphology, impacts of recent nooding in late
December 2020, when water levels in the Tas
were the highest ever recorded. Opportuni}es
to restore habitats for pollinators and create
ponds and hedgerows to connect up and create
stepping-stones for priority habitats in the
catchment.
