The Lamsey Beck water body is failing
for dissolved oxygen and invertebrates
with di昀昀use pollu}on likely to be the
cause. It is also failing for hydrology,
with groundwater abstrac}on the
probable cause. This work was
designed to compliment works carried
out in 21/22 and will help in making
the watercourse more resilient to low
nows.

50 m gravel installa}on to raise bed

Tree removal work to daylight
sec}ons of overly shaded channel
Installa}on of eight woody now
denectors
Plan}ng of coir rolls and preplanted pallets to help establish
marginal vegeta}on.
