DTP SUPPORT
Customer Self Repair Programme
This scheme, led by DTP and backed by HP, is intended to support
our customers in self-managing their break/昀椀x on client devices by
allowing IT staff to train and become accredited HP service engineers.
Joining this scheme will enable nominated IT staff to join DTP as
subcontractors, giving them access to knowledge, tools and facilities
that are only available through authorised service partners such as DTP.
Most parts in a device are classed as CSR (Customer Replaceable)
which can be replaced with no accreditation requirements. Other parts
however, which are classed as non-CSR, cannot be replaced without
an authorised service engineer. These require DTP/HP to arrange parts
& book engineers to attend.
Entering this scheme sets out to eliminate the added downtime by
providing the customer the ability to service these non-CSR parts and
perform their own repair.
Once signed up, the customer will be able to:

Effectively diagnose HP compute devices.
2.
Gain access to HP engineering tools & services.
3.
Direct Request for parts from HP via DTP.
4.
Replace non-CSR components.
5.
Access additional escalation points within DTP & HP.
