The Laramie Project is a mul}faceted explora}on of diverse perspec}ves in the wake of tragedy. I am deeply
grateful that the Tectonic Theatre Group chose to highlight
a wide range of voices from the community of Laramie,
WY, following the heartbreaking murder of Ma琀琀hew Shepard in 1998. This play serves as a poignant reminder that
every community contains a tapestry of opinions and experiences, all deserving of a琀琀en}on.
In York, we have also faced challenging moments that
compel us to ques}on the "whys" and "hows" of our own
narra}ves. The struggles of Laramie's residents resonate
with us, o昀昀ering a space for re昀氀ec}on and dialogue.
