Salary & Benefits
Pay Rate
Opportunity for Training & Development
All nurses have access to extensive
learning & development
opportunities. All newly qualified
nurses attend a Preceptorship
programme and nurses who embark
on shift-leading and supervising
others, attend a 4-day development
programme.
Basic Salary: £30,786
Once NMC registered
Basic Salary: £26,675
Prior to NMC Registration
Overtime & Unsocial Hours

Hours worked in excess of standard
37.5 hrs will be paid at 1.5 times
standard pay rate Mon- Sat, and 2
times standard pay rate on Sundays.
Together with the mandatory training
and the wide variety of internal
training on offer, nurses may attend
external training events including the
opportunity to study the NMC
Registered Mentorship programme.
Night Duty & Saturdays are paid at
30% above basic rate and Sundays &
Public Holidays 60% above basic rate.
Pay Frequency
Additional Benefits
Salary is paid on the 25th of each
month, unless this falls on the
weekend. In this case you will be paid
the Friday before the 25th.

Subsidised Meals
You may join the Trust’s nurse bank,
to work additional shifts, after you
have achieved NMC registration.

Accommodation
Paid annual holiday allowance is 27
days + 8 bank holidays, or 262.5 hours.
TCT provides on-site accommodation
for up to 1 year.
The first 2 months are FREE.
Professional Registration
Fees
Initial NMC Registration fee paid
(worth £153)
OSCE Fee(s) paid and CBT fee
refunded. You will also receive up to
£200 refunded towards English
language fees (if applicable).
