The Nuffield Health Journey
Established in 1957, Nuffield Health began life as the Nursing Homes Trust. Over time, it transformed into a
private hospitals business where they gave people the freedom to choose.
Six decades later, they set out a bold new vision to offer members and patients broader health and wellbeing
services. They combined their hospitals, health clinics, fitness and wellbeing gyms, diagnostic units and wide
range of treatments into one complete health and wellbeing service.
Today, Nuffield Health are Britain’s largest not for profit healthcare business. They invest all profit in their
expert staff, their technology, and their facilities, to provide accessible innovative ways for people to get and
