Kew Gardens
Located across the river from West Middlesex University Hospital, Kew Gardens is a botanical garden
which houses the largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world. Its living
collections include more than 30,000 different kinds of plants, while the herbarium, which is one of the
largest in the world, has over seven million preserved plant specimens. It is one of London's top tourist
attractions and is a World Heritage Site
Richmond Park
Richmond Park was created by King Charles I in the 17th century as a deer park. The largest of
London's Royal Parks, it is of national and international importance for wildlife conservation. Its
landscapes have inspired many famous artists and it has been a location for several films and TV series.
