Polyester Orthopaedic Casting Tape
Hygia Cast Plus offers strength, rigidity and durability with the added advantage
of being fibreglass free. Hygia Cast Plus is comprised of a knitted polyester fabric
which features extensible yarns which shape easily to body contours, providing
superior moulding capabilities for casting applications. Superior lamination with
excellent conformability. Easily removed with a regular cast saw blade. Excellent
X-ray radiolucency.

Polyester Roll Type Orthopaedic Splint
Hygia Splint is intended for use in the application of common orthopaedic splints.
It is comprised of 8 layers of a knitted polyester fabric, impregnated with
polyurethane resin. The splint is covered by air and moisture permeable non-woven
fabric on both sides, which is served as padding. Lightweight, strong and rigid with
excellent moulding capabilities. X-ray translucent.
