Penfolds Father
10-Year-Old Grand Tawny
Ardbeg An Oa
Single Malt Scotch Whisky
South Australia. (75cl).
18% Vol. To 2050.
Islay, UK. (70cl).
46.6% Vol. (in gift box).
Australia’s legendary Penfolds
– 160 years old and in finer form
than ever – makes Tawnies to rival
Porto’s finest. The Father Grand
Tawny is a blend of outstanding,
cask-matured wines, in this case
with an average minimum age of
10 years. Fruitcake, damson and
prune aromas and mellow
nutty complexity.
Ardbeg An Oa is crafted from
spirits aged in a variety of casks,
formerly used to mature such
delights as intense PX sherry
and fine US bourbon. These add
beguiling notes of butterscotch,
black pepper and clove to
the classic Ardbeg peat, dark
chocolate and aniseed. An Islay
malt of many dimensions.

Royal Tokaji Blue Label
5 Puttonyos 2018
Port Charlotte 10-Year-Old
Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Tokaji Aszú, Hungary. (50cl).
11.5% Vol. To 2029.
Islay, UK. (70cl). 50% Vol.
Tokaji is Hungary’s most noble
and historic wine and a legendary
dessert style up there with
Sauternes. ‘5 Puttonyos’ indicates
around 8 out of 10 on the sweetness
scale yet it tastes remarkably fresh.
It’s made from naturally raisined
(Aszú) grapes of remarkable
intensity. Honeyed stone fruits cut
through by incisive citrus zip.
Bruichladdich is one of the
smallest of Islay’s nine distilleries.
Its Port Charlotte label is famous
for strong peaty flavours,
heathery smoky aromas and the
fresh salt tang of Islay air. This
10-year-old edition has creamy
toffee notes, classic peatiness,
and raisin richness, all balanced
by fresher grass, orange and
candied lemon notes.
