Guide to Using the RIBA Plan of Work 2013What are the eight project stages?Before considering the detail of each of the eight stages associated with theRIBA Plan of Work 2013, it is essential to bear in mind several core points:• While the eight task bars are fixed, variable or selectable, all eight stagesare fixed.• The eight stages are referenced by numbers (0–7), rather than letters.• The stages relating to tendering activities that have been removed from theRIBA Plan of Work 2013 have been replaced by the Procurement task bar.• While the stages will generally occur in sequence, some may be carriedout together or overlap.
