Lifeline continues its market leading development of the FIA’s 8865-2015 standard and has launched the lightest and
most compact extinguisher system currently available, Zero 275. The full system including all ancillaries weighs under
3.5kgs, and is suitable for competition cars with cockpit capacities up to 4.0 sq/m. During the development, Lifeline
employed the use of advanced fluid dynamics analysis to make a significant step forward in driver safety. As a result,
the suppressant is efficiently used, allowing the cockpit nozzle to be floor mounted, which aids in lowering the vehicles
overall centre of gravity. In the engine bay, 3 outlets and the use of new materials account for a significant reduction
in suppressant volume when compared to previous systems. The efficient design of the system and intelligent use of
materials, makes the cost of a technical list 52 comparable to technical list 16 systems. A simple installation kit and electronic control system makes the Zero 275 perfect for competitors who are looking to save weight, cost, complexity, and
packaging with increased fire protection in comparison to the previous generations of 8865 systems.
Cylinder length: 310mm, height: 125mm, width: 125mm, mass: 2.6kg.
Approved to FIA technical list 52.

The remote charge version has the remote cartridge integrated onto the side of
the cylinder, offering improved packaging characteristics and reduced weight.
These fast-acting systems are available in two sizes, 2.0kg for saloon/sports
cars and a 3.0kg system that can be used in international rallying events. All
systems come with two nozzles for the engine bay and two flat fan nozzles for
the cockpit insuring extremely fast fire knock-down. Supplied as a complete
installation kit with anti-torpedo brackets and all the components necessary for
a professional installation. Electrical actuation only.
Approved to FIA technical list 16.

3 • Zero EV
The competitive arena of motorsports is often used as a proving ground for emerging technologies and EV/Hybrid
powertrains are a key area of research in the global effort towards sustainable mobility. Lifeline has again risen to the
challenge to develop a system that enhances competitor safety, with the launch of its latest 8865-2015 system the
Zero EV. Having undertaken a rigorous development program, which far surpassed the requirements set out by the
FIA, the Zero EV is one of the most technologically advanced suppression systems available today. The system meets
the requirements of the FIA Article 253 - 18.23. for use of a non-conductive suppressant by using 3M™ Novec™ 1230,
approving its use in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles. In another first to the sector and further cementing its credentials
as a suppression system for the future, Zero EV has also been successfully tested against the latest generation of
Biofuels.
Every gram has been accounted for during its design with a level of attention to detail not seen in the sector before.
Using just one nozzle in the cockpit and two in the engine bay, complexity and weight have been kept to a minimum
without compromising on performance and safety.
Cylinder length: 330mm, diameter 127mm, mass 6.2kg

ZERO 175
Maintaining Lifeline’s long standing tradition of being first to market, they are again, the first to homologate and bring to market
the latest FIA standard 8876-2022, fire suppression system for open cockpit vehicles, homologation number FS001.23. Launching
the Zero 175 reaffirms Lifeline’s position as the market leader, setting the benchmark for lightness, safety and quality.

4 • Zero 175
Utilising their patented discharge technology from the Zero 275, the system
is able to efficiently use suppressant material keeping weight to an absolute
minimum. Innovative new nozzle designs result in rapid discharge, quickly
knocking down fires in the engine bay, side pods and cockpit. By using just
one nozzle in the cockpit, one in the engine bay and two in the sidepods, the
system has been designed to prevent the spread of fire forwards through the
car. A threat the FIA specifically designed 8876-2022 to address. Knowing
that these cars are some of the lightest and fastest in the sport, the Zero 175
installation kit has been kept high quality and to a minimum. This allows for a
simple, lightweight and professional installation. With an intelligent control
box, status of the system is available to the driver at the push of a button.
The Zero 175 again pushes the envelope by making motorsports safety
lighter, better and faster.
