designed for motorsport or trackday use.

1 • Standard Layback Containment Seat (81 Series)
An evolution of the popular 71 series range of seats the 81 Series 20° layback
containment seat is designed for circuit racing, kit cars and club racing, and
is a fantastic upgrade to your standard or economy seat. Offering maximum
value for your money the high backed aluminum seat features a 20º layback
and is available in various widths to suit different driver sizes. A unique
3 piece design allows the shoulder and back to adjust by 2.5” (63.5mm)
vertically with the head restraint adding a further 0.75” (19mm) of vertical
adjustment.
• MIG welded from .100”and .190” thick 5052 grade aluminum
• Designed to accommodate all head and neck restraint systems
• Reinforced head and shoulders for additional support.
• Energy absorbing impact padding on head restraint.
• Head support designed for easy entry and exit from race car.
• Built in reinforced shoulder restraints.
• Designed to accommodate all 5 or 6 point seat belts.
The vertical adjustment makes it ideal for drivers of varying heights as it
allows for optimum support and comfort. The seat is supplied complete with
a removable black cloth cover which features a contoured high density foam
padding in the base for improved comfort and inner thigh support. The seat is
a modular 3 piece design and is supplied un-assembled.

Layback
A 20° Layback seat designed for the competitor who wants to save weight
without compromising comfort and safety. Manufactured from TIG welded
0.080” 5052 high grade aluminium and MIG welded inside for extra strength.
Rib supports offer extra lateral protection and multi-position lap belt
openings allow easy fitment of a 4, 5 or 6 point harness. Contoured sides
support the hips and thighs along the complete side of seat. The seat bottom
is shaped at the rear to support tailbone and lower back. Centre leg support
holds inner thighs under heavy cornering forces.
Padded seat cover sets available separately.

3 • 10°- 20° Layback Seat (38 Series)
38 Series

Due to its unique bottom design, the highly versatile 38 Series seat can be
mounted in multiple layback angles without raising the centre of gravity.
It comes with bolt on rib braces and a welded interior head rest plate for
additional strength. The 38 Series range is constructed from TIG and MIG
welded .100” thick 5052 grade aluminium and has extra MIG welding on the
inside for added strength. The seats come as standard with lap belt openings,
double shoulder belt openings and crotch strap opening to accommodate all
belt systems. Can be mounted through the bottom of the seat or with optional
side mounts (See table below) and optional rear mount (See table below).
Vinyl or tweed padded seat covers available separately.
