With the recent introduction of the FIA 8855-2021 approval,
Sparco has developed a number of seats that meet these high
safety specifications. The recent approval brings the older
FIA 8855-1999, which has been in place for the past 20 years,
up to a very similar standard to the very highest FIA 8862-2009
approval. The latest FIA 8855-2021 approval has an increased
level of safety and strength from the shell which is now
capable of withstanding high-speed impacts of up to 42G, but
at a fraction of the cost of the higher FIA 8862-2009 approval
making it more affordable for the entry level teams and
drivers. All FIA 8855-2021 approved seats come with a
10 year life.

Manufactured to the very latest FIA approval for fibreglass
seats, this super strong lightweight seat offers huge safety
benefits over any 8855-1999 seat as they have to withstand
enormous impacts. This fibreglass seat offers excellent allround comfort and protection from impacts at any angle. The
seat features shock absorbing foam around the headrest for
additional protection along with unique safety net guides to
aid the fitting of said safety device. A low base cushion further
improves the driver safety as the legs are kept further inside
the seat frame offering huge amounts of lateral support, whilst
memory foam padding around the seats improves the comfort
further. The seat also features non-slip fabric on the shoulder
points aiding driver comfort and retention. Fully FHR device
compatible for use in professional motorsport. The Master features self-extinguishing fabric and is a perfect seat for cockpits
with restricted internal space such as GT & Rally cars.
