This entry level FHR device from hans® replicates the design
of the top-level devices used in F1 but in a more affordable
polymer material. The hollow collar reduces the weight making
the hans® III a lightweight option within the entry level market.
Now available in 20 or 30° recline to cover most forms of
Motorsport from saloons to single seaters. The hans® III is the
most cost effective 30° device available. Sliding tethers are
fitted as standard to provide greater freedom of movement.

Using the hans® IV as a base to improve on, the new hans®
IV has been redesigned to benefit the end user. The FHR has
been re-engineered for a more ergonomic shape for a more
comfortable fit and better harness retention thanks to it’s
taller wings and anti-slip friction material. Increased comfort
is largely aided by new integrated foam compound pads which
are moulded into the FHR and offer a perfect blend of comfort
and support. The weight of the unit has also been reduced
by 10%.

The hans® Pro Ultra Lite Device applies lightweight
construction of the Carbon-Fibre Pro-Series to the modern
shape of the hans® III, FIA 8858-2010 certified. Ideal for easier
entry and exit in many smaller, tighter spaced vehicles. The
aerospace grade, 100% Carbon-fibre construction features a
totally hollow core for increased weight savings.
The Pro Ultra Lite also features sliding tethers which are
standard for great visibility and soft shoulder pads are fitted as
standard for additional comfort.

know how has resulted in one of the lightest FHR’s on the
market today. Using aerospace grade carbon fibre and
proprietary techniques has helped them develop this new
FHR that’s 15% lighter than the current hans® Pro Ultra
Lite. Using a unique re-shaped design allows for ultimate
weight saving whilst still retaining incredible strength
and functionality. Featuring sliding tethers for increased
visibility and soft shoulder pads for additional comfort.

The Hybrid Pro Lite, is the lightest Hybrid Frontal Head
Restraint available. The device features a powerful design that
is 30% lighter than the original Hybrid Pro. Made in the USA
of ultralight, high quality carbon and with the lowest profile in
the industry. The Hybrid Pro Lite features an efficient tether
system design that results in smooth side to side motion. A
thinner back plate, encapsulated tie plates and graceful tether
grooves, all come together and provide a multi-tasking device
that protects with proven, tested, and tested again technology.

The Simpson Hybrid is a lightweight composite head and neck
restraint system that protects users from front, offset and side
on impacts. The Simpson Hybrid is it gives you maximum comfort
and greater freedom of movement than a conventional FHR
device, due to its design and sliding tethers. Another added
benefit is not having to remove the device every time you remove
your helmet. This being a big benefit in an enclosed cockpit
during multi-stage events.
