1 • P1 Defender Body Protector

This protector has been developed to comply with FIA 8870-2018 regulations
which is now mandatory in all FIA European and World Championship KZ,
OKJ and OK senior events. Based on the popular P1, it retains the same
comfort and minimal thickness but adds more strength and coverage to the
front and rear, including an integrated chest protector. This helps protect
against steering wheel impacts as well as preventing potential rib injuries.
Designed to pass the rigorous FIA safety tests but also remain flexible and
un-noticeable under the race suit. The angle of the side panels is adjustable
to suit different body shapes and provides a more tailored fit, with the front
fixing also allowing for this angle change. The inside of the protector uses
a unique foam which is made to absorb multiple impacts in the same area
without collapsing.
