Sie hat etwas erspäht und läuft auf einem vertrockneten, im Wasser
liegenden Baumstamm bis an die Spitze der Krone. Dann hält sie inne,
inspiziert ein letztes Mal die Lage und bereitet sich auf den Sprung vor.
Fast regungslos verharrt sie, zum Absprung bereit. Auch ich bin bereit
und gespannt auf das, was jetzt passieren würde.
Patricia, an experienced adult female, is on the hunt. She has spotted
something and walks up a dried-up tree trunk lying in the water to the
top of the crown. Then she pauses, inspects the situation one last time
and prepares to pounce. She becomes almost motionless, waiting to
jump. I, too, am ready and eager to see what happens next.
