Steel and aluminium are indeed "heavy" materials to extract.
However this does not mean the materials are a disadvantage for our planet.
When the metals has been extracted, they can be recycled repeatedly by
relatively few resources without leaving the sustainable circuit.
Thus, the materials will not perish and can be recycled countless times
far into the future without losing their mechanical properties.
REDUCE
Steel is an extraordinary durable material that secures a long lifetime of all DAMPA-solutions.
The durability ensures that even in busy and exposed environments, the product and its design will
remain intact. Often DAMPA-solutions last longer than the building itself and rarely needs to be replaced
during the building's lifespan.
Furthermore, on-going optimization and development of our solutions is an integrated part of our
processes to minimize use of materials and production waste. This e.g. through minimizing the thickness
of material used for our solutions.
Thereby savings on the operating budget is achieved and our planet is spared for new resources
being used on replacing existing products.
REUSE
Due to the durability and the long lifetime of the material, DAMPA-solutions can be reused
100% after its original use and tailored to its new purpose.
This e.g. by returning the products to our factory, where they amongst other can be repainted
and fitted for new design aesthetics. In this way expenses associated with production of new
products are avoided and the planet is spared for additional impact of CO2.
RECYCLE
All surplus materials from our factory, e.g. calculated perforation stamp-outs, are sorted and recycled.
The materials that are not included in the final product are thereby recirculated and recycled this meaning the materials may end up back at our factory as "new" material ready to be used in
our production again.
All DAMPA-solutions can by recycling be transformed into new products by using relatively
few resources.
