Innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit
is part of our DNA and has been so ever
since Marius Pedersen established his own
business in 1925. He developed a roller
for road maintenance purposes and was
already then highly focused on recycling
and minimizing waste of resources – today
called part of circular economy.
The road roller was the first of a wide range
of road machinery to be developed by
Marius, and his contracting company grew
steadily until the early 1970s when the
activities were expanded to include waste
management.
Our company today
Today, waste management is our primary
activity. With local customer callcenters
and logisticscentres across Denmark, 16
waste treatment facilities and a fleet of
some 650 vehicles, Marius Pedersen
A/S ranges among Denmark’s leading
businesses in the waste and resource
industry. About 500,000 tonnes of waste is
treated annually for recycling purposes.
Marius Pedersen A/S is owned by Entreprenør Marius Pedersens Fund, and the
company has evolved into an international
group with subsidiaries in the Czech
Republic and Slovakia employing a total of
4,700 employees in the three countries.
Marius Pedersen A/S provides services to
industrial and public customers across all
industries and handles all types of waste –
whether in solid or liquid form.
