MEMBERS AND THE PENSION SCHEME
Strong interest in the pension scheme
Members continue to be increasingly interested in
monitoring their pension scheme. In 2021, there
were more than 1.5 mill. sessions via digital
channels, and there were 17.6 million page views
of information about the pension scheme.
Even though Industriens Pension was lauded as
the digital pension company of the year in 2021,
services are also so ‘old-fashioned’ that when
customers ring Industriens Pension they receive a
personal reply in just a few seconds. There was a
total of almost 250,000 telephone conversations
during the year for Member and Company
Services, which, by the way, was praised as the
best service organisation in Denmark.
Although the framework for face-to-face meetings
still had to be adjusted due to Covid-19, we held
more meetings with members and companies. In
2021, Industriens Pension held more than 3,700
meetings to provide members and companies
with personal information on the pension scheme.
In particular, there has been considerable growth
in the number of individual meetings with
members.
Danish Insurance Complaints Board
Industriens Pension is a member of the Danish
Insurance Complaints Board, which takes the
place of the Consumer Complaints Board in the
insurance area. In 2021, there were seven
complaints against Industriens Pension. This is one
more than in 2020 but still a low number of
complaints.
The Danish Insurance Complaints Board
completed three cases in 2021. Our decisions
were upheld in all of the cases.
