INDUSTRIENS PENSIONSFORSIKRING A/S
ANNUAL REPORT 2021
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Active ownership
Active ownership is an important tool in
Industriens Pension's work to promote
environmental and social sustainability and
manage sustainability risk in investments.
Industriens Pension can contribute to sustainable
societal development by being an active owner
who votes at general meetings and engages in
dialogue with companies about developing and
improving important aspects. Industriens Pension
meets the active ownership requirements of the
Shareholder Rights Directive and publishes on its
website how it votes in companies in which we
have invested.
Our own climate footprint
As a company, Industriens Pension supports
efforts in society to reduce the impact of climate
change. Industriens Pension is aware of its role in
supporting this. In 2021, Industriens Pension was
the first company in Denmark to receive
sustainability certification of its owner-occupied
property according to the new principles for
buildings already in use, and Industriens Pension
has increased its purchases of green electricity.
Work to identify and implement these initiatives
will continue in 2022, and in the future.
Climate reporting
The Danish Insurance Association has prepared a
sector recommendation on reporting of a number
of climate key figures. The key figures have been
calculated for 2021 and are stated in Industriens
Pension’s
report
on
corporate
social
responsibility. The report also contains
information on compliance with sections 132,
132a and 132d of the Executive Order on Financial
Reports for Insurance Companies and MultiEmployer Occupational Pension Funds. The report
on corporate social responsibility is available at
www.industrienspension.dk.
