Continued low administration costs
Industriens Pension has focus on keeping
administration costs at a continued low level.
The monthly contribution for administration was
increased for 2024 by DKK 2 to DKK 26 per
member, corresponding to DKK 312 per year.
The financial ratio "Costs per member" in 2023
was DKK 262. In addition to this are costs of
sickness and accident insurance of DKK 59 per
member.
Communication about the pension scheme
In 2023, members were again interested in
monitoring their pension savings on digital
channels. With almost 1.7 million sessions on the
web and the app, the number of members
searching for information about their pension
scheme was close to the same record level as in
2022. This testifies to great involvement and
appetite for searches about the pension scheme
on Industriens Pension's digital platforms.
Good personal advice and service is also an
important focus area for Industriens Pension.
Therefore it is very pleasing that Industriens
Pension was judged to have the sector's best
service in several satisfaction and image surveys
in 2023 (including best service in the
Finansimage survey by FinansWatch and Wilke,
as well as best service quality in BrancheIndex
Pension from Loyalty Group). More than
245,000 incoming telephone calls were
managed by Member and Company Services
during the year.
THE PENSION SCHEME
Industriens Pension as the company with the
best reputation in the pension sector for the
second successive year (Finansimage 2023),
and Industriens Pension won the Epsi Rating
Danmark award for the pension company with
the most satisfied members in 2023.
Furthermore, Industriens Pension won the 2023
labour-market pension company of the year
award presented by FinansWatch and EY on the
basis of key figures for returns over a number of
years, as well as administration expenses.
Industriens Pension also won the prize for best
bond investor among pension companies across
Europe at the IPE European Pension Fund
Awards 2023.
Danish Insurance Complaints Board
Industriens Pension is a member of the Danish
Insurance Complaints Board, which takes the
place of the Consumer Complaints Board in the
insurance area.
In 2023, there were 16 complaints against
Industriens Pension. This is four complaints
fewer than in 2022, but historically it is a
relatively high number of complaints. The
Insurance Complaints Board decided 11 cases.
Industriens Pension's decisions were upheld in
six cases, four cases went to settlement, and in
one case the member's case was upheld.
In 2023, Industriens Pension won several of the
sector's important awards for satisfaction and
reputation. FinansWatch and Wilke judged
