By producing metal from recycled materials, only
about 10% of the resources are used in the
manufacturing process. At DAMPA, we have a
great focus on ensuring a high degree of reuse and
recycling of the materials. If you compare our
current aluminum with, for example, aluminum from
the Far East, our material from European suppliers
emits 57% less CO2 per kg.

One of the solutions that we have looked into to
minimize our CO2 footprint is a greener aluminum
that consists of 75% post-consumer aluminum. By
using aluminium, which consists of 75% recycled
material, the CO2 footprint is further reduced by
69%.
