“The American woman is searching for
more seductive styles,” says Natacha
Jacquier LaForge, artistic director at
Chantelle, “more transparency and high
fashion.”
She believes that with all the time spent
at home during the pandemic, American
women are looking for a daring newness.
“Before the pandemic, when we imagined
seduction, the idea was to target men,”
she explains. “Now women prioritize
pleasing themselves. They are deciding
to be more audacious with their lingerie
choices.”

Chantelle X was created. And as such,
Jacquier LaForge was presented with a
challenge, as the company’s leadership
gave her a blank slate to fill.
With an unrivaled pedigree, she rose
to the challenge. Jacquier LaForge is a
20-year veteran of the industr y who
started her career as an intern in the
legendary Chantal Thomass’ studio. She
