The New Naked
Naked dresses are nothing new — Marilyn Monroe
wore a sheer one embellished with strategically placed
jet beading in 1959’s Some Like It Hot. More recently,
Rihanna and Beyonce drew major headlines for the
naked dresses each wore on red carpets.
As sheer dresses and gowns dominated the fall 2023
runways — from Gucci, Rodarte, Moschino and others
— lingerie choices also become paramount to create a
cohesive look.
