styled in a decidedly sexy fashion. Higher
leg openings and lace or sheer fabrics
were seen in the fall collections of Dolce
& Gabbana, Bally and others, imbuing
this piece with a romantic modernity.

archives to offer his updated take on
Pierre Balmain’s signatures. Among the
bows, pearls and power shoulders, a
peplum-accented corset proved to be an
ideal layering piece over sheer blouses
and under sheer gowns.
