Budding TV Star

Lee Padgett has worn many hats during the course of
her life.
She’s a U.S. Navy veteran, has a degree in chemistry, has been
a bartender and a DJ, and is a wife and mother. She’s also an
entrepreneur.
And now, the founder and owner of the Busted Bra Shop, a
chain of six lingerie stores in the Midwest, can add television
star to her resume.
Padgett will be featured on the Blox, a reality competition show
about entrepreneurship created by Wes Bergmann.
It all started by answering a Facebook ad. “I looked into it
and found out it was real,” Padgett says and submitted an
application, followed by a video and telephone interview. When
she made the cut and received a contract, she had her lawyer
review it before signing, a step she views as essential to any
business owner.
The show is 昀椀lmed in a casino in Tulsa. Padgett participated
in a master class and joined a pod over the course of a “very
intense” week to master practical lessons on how to grow
their businesses with the help of some top-notch coaches.
Among the topics tackled, she says, are customer acquisition
channels, how to raise capital, how to determine the valuation
of a company and other essential tools.
