Speaking of powerful women who are unabashed
in their fashion choices, Ice Spice — born Isis Naija
Gaston in the Bronx, New York — has ignited many
a red carpet with her gutsy, forward-thinking style
choices. At 2023’s BET Awards, she wore a look fully
rooted in lingerie by Dolce & Gabbana, a blend of lace,
chi昀昀on and point d’Esprit tulle accented with boning
details. More recently, she partnered with Dolce &
Gabbana again for the hot-ticket Vanity Fair party
following the March 10 Academy Awards, this time
wearing a custom sheer long-sleeve black lace and
stretch tulle gown with matching underpinnings, all
by the Italian designers.

At the 2024 Emmy Awards, Fargo best actress
nominee leaned into the lingerie trend in a wholly
elegant way, wearing a design by the legendary Vera
Wang, who custom-designed Temple’s red-carpet
look as part of her bespoke Haute line. The twopiece ensemble consisted of a custom corset crafted
of crystal-embellished stretch tulle, boning and black
lingerie straps, paired with a black silk satin column
skirt topped with an architectural peplum. The result
was an on-trend look sporting subtle lingerie detailing
for maximum red carpet elegance.
