What’s Next?

• We are excited to launch CSAA’s
first-ever external challenge in
2023. We are partnering with social
impact platform OpenIDEO on an
innovation challenge to invest in new
solutions that protect our frontline
communities in the face of climatechange-related events, especially
wildfire. The collaborative nature
of this challenge is designed to
provide real, innovative, and effective
solutions needed to move the needle
on bigger climate issues.
• We have committed to again
sponsoring San Francisco Business
Times’ Bay Area Climate Leadership
Solutions Summit in 2023.
• We will be working with CDP to dive
more deeply into the analysis of our
score, looking for gaps, identifying
key stakeholders across the
organization, and setting real targets
and metrics to show improvement
year over year.
• We are working toward reducing our
overall fleet of vehicles by 50%.
• We will be testing ZEVs in Q4 2023
for purchase and/or implementation
in 2024.
• We will continue to focus on emission
reductions–including emissions from
paper use–evaluating more Scope
3 emissions to stay aligned with
emerging trends and standards.
• We will further integrate sustainability • Alongside these actions for impact,
into our culture to engage employees,
solicit ideas and encourage action.
• We will leverage our supplier survey
to identify new courses of action to
meet our goals.
• We will be adding an environmental
statement to our contracts with
our suppliers as well as an antislavery and anti-human trafficking
clause, plus WCAG compliance
requirements.
• We will continue to reduce
our carbon footprint to achieve our
2025 goals.
• We continue to move through our
climate journey with transparency
and humility.
