Sound mind and connections
With our hybrid work model, CSAA
is keenly focused on employees’
mental well-being. Through our
partnership with One Mind at Work,
a global employer-led coalition that
works to improve mental health in
the workplace, CSAA completed the
Mental Health at Work Index, which
is a technology-based assessment
tool that allows us to measure and
improve our mental well-being
programs. The Mental Health at Work
Index inspired our focus in 2023
on the provision of mental health
programs and services. We surveyed
employees on mental health needs to
minimize risks that negatively impact
mental health.
We now have more than 200
employees certified in Mental Health
First Aid with trainings being offered
nearly every month by four of our
own employees. Our Well-being
Wednesday breaks have continued
as a way for employees to form social
connections with colleagues and
engage in well-being activities. And
our well-being platform supports
social well-being by allowing
employees to connect with one
another, add friends from outside
the company, initiate challenges with
others, and interact in social groups.
Furthermore, CSAA hosts listening
sessions, where employees gather
to share their struggles and discuss
coping strategies to overcome life’s
inevitable challenges.
