2005
Our company was
founded by James M.
“Jim” Croy, Sr., John
Williams, and former
Georgia Governor
Roy Barnes with the
acquisition of the
firm MSE. Initially
named Croy-MSE,
the firm had 17
employees at its
headquarters
location in Marietta,
Georgia.
2013
2010
Our Aviation team
was awarded a
“General Aviation
Airport Project of
the Year” award by
the Georgia Airports
Association. Croy,
and our aviation
clients, would go on
to win this award
again in 2018, 2020,
and 2022.
Our Huntsville,
Alabama office was
established to
provide more local,
flexible service to
clients in northern
Alabama and
southeastern
Tennessee.
2007
The firm was
officially re-named
Croy Engineering
and had grown to 50
team members.
2016
A third office was
opened in Smyrna,
Georgia.
2012
2015
Two minority
partners were added
to Croy’s executive
leadership team:
Gregory D. Teague,
PE as President, and
Adam Langley as
Chief Financial
Officer.
Ten years after its
founding, Croy
officially reached 100
employees.
