Crump in Dandelions won the KS2 painting first prize for her acrylic on
canvas, based on the School banner and the Church. Isabelle King (KS2)
and Zara Aslett (KS1) were the runners up. Well done by all the
exhibitors!
Mid-summer opera at Falconhurst
27 June, 6.00pm
The Opera company Wild Arts, will be performing 8The Elixir of Love9 by
Donizetti with an hour interval for picnics. Garden opens at 5.00pm. Ticket
prices for this evening outside, are £45, £65 & £85. Under 21s are £20.

Easter Lilies
I know that Easter is quite late this year, but our thoughts are turning
towards the Spring. Each year we try to have lots of lilies in the Church to
celebrate Christ9s resurrection. If you would like to donate towards the
flowers in memory of a special person who has died, please let me know.
Their names will be displayed, if you would like, on a lovely, printed list
placed near to one of the arrangements. We do not ask for a specific
amount as we do not know how much the lilies will cost at the time, so any
donation big or small would be gratefully received. This can be in cash to
me or sent direct to the Church at Holy Trinity PCC sort code 40-52-40
Acc.no. 00014196 with reference your name and 8lilies9. There will be a list
in Church to sign nearer the time or you can phone or e-mail. Thanking you
in advance for helping us to make our Church especially beautiful for

Church Flower Rota
Would you, or anyone you know (ladies or gentlemen), like to join the
merry band of flower arrangers who decorate our lovely small country
church? It is a two-weekly rota and working in pairs you should only be
committed once a year. I would stress that it is not necessary to be an
expert, no-one judges the displays, and it is definitely not a competition.
The arrangements are very much appreciated by everyone. Please have a
word with me if you are not certain and I can set your mind at rest. Annie
