Church Electoral Roll
In every parish the annual parochial church meeting (APCM) must be held
between 1 January and 31 May. Only those on the electoral roll are entitled
to vote. The electoral roll must be revised every six years and 2025 is a year
for revision. Therefore, a new roll will be compiled between 2 and 23 April.
Every person already enrolled will be emailed or sent a form to complete,
whilst those not on the roll who wish to enrol must apply with forms
which will be available for collection in Holy Trinity Church from 2 April.
The Electoral Roll gives the people a voice which can be heard at parish,
deanery, diocese and national levels. Those attending the Annual Meeting
can ask questions of the Parochial Church Council, and can elect its
members, the representatives on the Deanery Synod, and the Church
Wardens.
The APCM will be held in the School Hall on 13 May at 6pm.
Oscar Wilde quotes
Whenever people agree with me, I always feel I must be wrong.
I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.
