April is a busy month for gardeners. The longer days fill us with excitement
for the summer to come. We look forward to the company of fellow
gardeners, picking up tips and advice. On Saturday 3 May, we will be
holding a plant sale in the village hall garden from 10.30 onwards. All
proceeds will be given to charity. We would be very grateful for
contributions of plants or seeds. Everyone is welcome. Our summer garden
visits start on 22 May with an afternoon visit to Anne and Alex9s gardens in
Spout Lane. In June we visit Quinces, Kate9s and Tony9s garden in Mapleton
Road. An evening tour of gardens in Oakdale Lane will follow (dates to be
confirmed) and in July we9ll visit Trish9s and Tony's garden in New Road.
Thanks to all members who invite us to their lovely gardens. We welcome
new members. If you would like to join us, please contact Sue Dillon on
07760 199205.
