Eden Christian Trust - Our Charity of the Month
Since 1997, Eden Christian Trust, an ecumenical charity, has been
dedicated to supporting young people aged 10-18 years old in the
Edenbridge area. Led by Anthony, our Youth Worker, along with 25
dedicated volunteers, we offer a range of activities including a weekly
youth club, a mentoring group, summer camps, school clubs and outreach
in local churches and the community. Our award-winning Friday club is a
safe and welcoming space where young people can connect with their
friends, learn essential life skills and build secure, trusting relationships.
Our mentoring group for young people, who want extra support and
encouragement in their lives, provides activities that improve their
confidence and self-esteem, increasing their resilience and coping abilities.
By offering these opportunities, which are grounded in Christian values, we
help young people develop their social and emotional capabilities, enabling
them to navigate and cope with the many challenges of everyday life. We
believe that fostering such an environment plays a crucial role in their
personal growth and well-being.
Edenbridge young people attend many different schools throughout the
borough and often struggle to make friends locally. To learn more about
