THE WINE
The opulence displayed by wines from Diamond
Mountain is both unique and distinctive. Due to
slightly warmer temperatures in this locale, the
wines possess lower acidity but retain a rich
tannic structure reminiscent of dark chocolate
and cocoa. Aromas primarily encompass
blueberry, spice, and crème de cassis with hints
of coffee and earth. This combination of robust
mountain structure and a soft, generous texture
yields wines that are approachable in their
youth yet equipped with the tannic backbone
for long-term aging.
