THE WINE
The rocky, shallow soils of the
Sacrashe Vineyard contribute to
a profile that displays powerful
fruit complemented by an
earthly, spicy aroma. The color
is consistently dense reflecting
a wine of exceptional depth and
power. Rich tannins dominate
the fruit and dark chocolate
flavors, but they exhibit a light
touch—seemingly powerful and
weightless simultaneously. The
balance of intensity and tension
makes this wine concurrently
delicious and a candidate for
extended aging.
