n the heart of the Diamond Mountain
District at the northeastern corner of
Napa Valley, our winegrowing partners,
Jen and Frances Rainin, preside over an
enchanting and intimate estate. They laid
the foundation for the Rainin Vineyard in
1998, and their unwavering commitment to
this venture is eloquently encapsulated by their
guiding philosophy: “If it’s not fun, we’re not
doing it.” We wholeheartedly share their zest for
life, and we believe that it resonates profoundly in
the distinctive character of the Rainin wine.

This meticulously cultivated vineyard is intricately
divided into several small blocks, each exclusively
devoted to the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Our
winemakers approach this endeavor with utmost precision,
harvesting and fermenting each block separately in pursuit of
the purest expression of the vineyard’s essence.
SAN PABLO
BAY
This vineyard consistently yields some of the most cherished
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in our portfolio. Each vintage the
resulting wine is a curated selection from the finest barrels.
Year after year, the Rainin Vineyard wine stands among the
most robust and opulent offerings within our winery, thanks in
part to the influences of Diamond Mountain’s warmer climate.
