THE WINE
Exzellenz has dark black fruit, power,
chewy tannin, and a focused palate.
The wine opens with complex aromas
of blackberry, truffle, and freshly
turned earth. Blue and black fruit
flavors dominate the palate and are
accompanied by notes of crushed rock
and baking spice. Plentiful, ripe tannins
cascade into a sleek, rich mid-palate,
and a very long and lingering finish.
