Foundation sponsored Baseball
uniforms for Miami Metro

The foundation sponsored the little league
baseball jerseys for the summer traveling
team. The season kicks off July 24th at The
Ripken Experience tournament in Tennessee.
The goal of the summer baseball team is to
keep youth focused on their development
and discipline in preparation for high school
baseball. The team’s coach is Miami-Dade
Police Department Lt. Nelson Andreu.
The Foundation believes in the little league
program because immersion in sports and
athletics is a character-building activity.
Sports teach life lessons of discipline,
patience, and fellowship. They are joined by a
common goal—get off the streets and be part
of a team.
Foundation supports The Family Tree
of Life Parenting Center
In March, the Foundation was
introduced by State Attorney for
Miami-Dade County Katherine
Fernandez Rundle to Gloria
Martinez, Executive Director of
the Center. Over the last three
months, we have sponsored
prom attire for a human
trafficking youth survivor, a
“Pampering event for 50
Mother’s”, and in August we will
sponsor the Community Baby
Shower event.
Tree of Life Parenting Center is a
nonprofit organization whose
mission has always been to
empower and equip families with
the tools necessary to
overcome, thrive, and be successful in their parenting journey.
Their vision is to ensure all parents have the tools they need by
providing for their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs
through practical resources, support services, and parenting. The
center gives parents a safe space to find support, essential items,
needs, and necessary resources to thrive at every stage of their
lives. They provide access to doulas for free, as well as referrals to
clinics that do not require insurance nor citizenship. For clients
who have survived sexual trauma and domestic violence they offer
specific counseling used to
empower their self-worth
while working on past trauma.
The center's name embodies
the idea that parents are the
roots of the family and branch
new life into the world. All
services are free to families
and mothers in need.
