CPRF treats City of Miami Police Department Police
Athletic League (PAL) to Benihana
In February, the Foundation celebrated the end of a successful
2022 football season with a special meal at Benihana restaurant.
The foundation invited a group of players, cheerleaders, coaches,
and police officers to dinner. The high school students enjoyed the
Hibachi experience and delicious food.
The City of Miami Police Department PAL program offers
mentoring, homework assistance, athletics, STEM/STEAM and
activities for children and families. The Foundation continues to
support various community events and youth programs
collaborating with police departments.
CPR Foundation Chairman Al Eskanazy is a board member of the
City of Miami PAL program.
Paddle with First Responders
For the second year in a row, the Foundation
sponsored The Paddle with First Responders
event that included youths from a local
nonprofit. The event included water activities
(kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming), as
well as lunch with the Miami Dade County
Police Youth Unit and Marine Patrol officers.
“My daughter and I truly enjoyed the water
activities with the children that participated.
We included officers at the event which made
it extra special for youth to chat, laugh and
connect,” stated Grace Ugalde-Wolpert, CPR
Foundation COO.
The mission of Every Kids Swims is to leverage
the therapeutic values of water-based
activities as a catalyst to empower foster and
at-risk youth to develop healthy mental health
habits.
