CPR Foundation hosted Bourbon & Cigars in the Spring
In March, the Foundation hosted an evening of Bourbon & Cigars
with guest speaker Peter Mattis, a senior U.S. diplomat and China
specialist, Hamlet Youseff, who has extensive national security and
defense experience in Europe, the Middle East, and Vincent
Bridgeman, a Marine Corps intelligence officer including all-source
and geospatial analysis and production, and counterintelligence.
The event included food, bourbon, cigars, and a who’s who of
community members: police chiefs, law enforcement agents,
community leaders, wealth managers, attorneys, and foundation
executive members Barry Skolnick, Peter Hochfelder, Marc
Farbstein, Jeff Meshel, Glenn Hechler, Chris Jones, and others.
In May, we hosted the second series of Bourbon & Cigars that
included former senior diplomat of the U.S. Treasury Department,
Michael Greenwald, and Hamlet Yousef. “The insights shared, and
the connections made were incomparable," stated Peter Hochfelder,
CPR Foundation President of Advisory Board. Another great turnout
with local friends and members of the foundation: federal agents,
police chiefs and officers, community leaders, philanthropists,
foundation members, and many more.
Thank you to our sponsors Bo & Ivy Bourbon, Oliva Cigars, No Days
Off Water, and Stella Artois PerfectDraft.
Foundation Welcomes Brother’s for Life with City of Miami Police Department
For the last two years, CPR Foundation has hosted a
breakfast seminar with Brother’s for Life. We invited
Assistant Chief of Police at City of Miami Police
Department Cherise G. Gause, City of Miami Police
Department Officer Castillo, and Miami Beach Police
Department Sergeant Guas to update the Israeli soldiers
of the remarkable program provided to our police
officers and first responders by the Boulder Crest
Foundation, post traumatic growth wellness initiative.
Barry Skolnick, Foundation Co-Chairman & President,
stated, “Brother’s for Life attendees were most
favorably impressed with the synergistic relationships
CPR Foundation has developed with the community and law enforcement agencies in South Florida and New York”.
In May, The Foundation attended the Brother’s for Life Global Celebration in New York City. It was another opportunity to
reconnect and support the organization.
Brothers for Life is a non-profit organization, created and run by injured Israeli veterans, which gives critical and immediate
help to other injured Israeli combat veterans who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the Jewish people.
