CPR Foundation is Recognized by Westchester Square BID
TThe Foundation received the “Community Partnership of the Year Award” at the June
Westchester Square Business Improvement District (BID) annual meeting hosted at the
Harvest Field Community Church in The Bronx. The award recognizes outstanding
contributions made to the district and community at large. There were 100 residents,
property owners, merchants, local city officials, New York Police Department command
staff, officers, and staff.
“The CPR Foundation has been instrumental in helping us fund many of our projects which
in turn help this community. By supporting our events, we strengthen the relationships
between law enforcement and the community as they get to participate in these familyfriendly events that bring everyone together in a safe environment,” stated Yasmin Cruz,
Executive Director of Westchester Square BID.
Welcome to our Youth Ambassadors
At the Foundation, we want to build the capacity of youth participants to understand problems as they arise. Through our
in-person and remote programs, our youth ambassadors will engage in community events and meetings, civic engagements
at the community level; mentorship, interaction with local leaders and police departments, as well as volunteering.
Jake, our New York Outreach Youth
Ambassador, will support the fundraising
and marketing functions in the Northeast.
He is inspiring young adults to get
involved in community activities. He also
brings much energy to our mission.
Jeenny is our Miami Dade College intern. She is a
College Rising Scholar majoring in Business
Administration. She will be providing
administrative support to Grace Wolpert, our
COO, and Nicole Champagne, our Director of
Development.
*There are many more events that we supported. This is just a sample of what your membership
and support has done to bring communities and law enforcement together.
*Events are constantly being added to our calendar. If you are interested in attending any
events, please contact Grace Ugalde-Wolpert at grace@cprfcharity.org or 786-252-0919.
Through the efforts of the CPR Foundation, people in all communities around the country are
realizing that local police officers are people who grew up in their neighborhood and chose law
enforcement as a career to help society.
