2,000+ CPR Foundation Backpacks
Distributed to Students
The CPR Foundation has donated more than 2,000
backpacks to children in Miami-Dade County, New York,
and other areas across the United States. Local police
officers have distributed these backpacks along with
school supplies to children in their communities, ensuring
that they have the necessary tools to succeed in school.
Barry Skolnick, CPR Foundation Co-Chairman, stated
that the foundation has been successfully fulfilling its
mission of uniting communities with law enforcement,
building meaningful relationships, and generating
enthusiasm for a better future.
CPR Foundation Partners with NYPD 24th Precinct for Annual Back-toSchool Backpack Giveaway in Harlem
The CPR Foundation collaborated with the
New York Police Department's 24th
Precinct to organize their annual Back-toSchool Backpack Giveaway in August 2023.
More than 300 children, who live within the
24th Precinct, attended the event. Local
law enforcement assisted in distributing
the backpacks and school supplies, while
others
helped
serve
food
and
refreshments. In the last five years, the
24th Precinct and some generous
community partners have organized this
event, which has helped build better
relations between the precinct and the
community. Many children from lowincome households have benefited from
this program, and others like it.
These
CPR
Foundation-sponsored
programs have allowed kids and their
families to interact with law enforcement in
a positive and constructive way, thereby
strengthening the bonds between the
officers and the local community.
