2,000+ CPR Foundation BackpacksDistributed to StudentsThe CPR Foundation has donated more than 2,000backpacks to children in Miami-Dade County, New York,and other areas across the United States. Local policeofficers have distributed these backpacks along withschool supplies to children in their communities, ensuringthat they have the necessary tools to succeed in school.Barry Skolnick, CPR Foundation Co-Chairman, statedthat the foundation has been successfully fulfilling itsmission of uniting communities with law enforcement,building meaningful relationships, and generatingenthusiasm for a better future.CPR Foundation Partners with NYPD 24th Precinct for Annual Back-toSchool Backpack Giveaway in HarlemThe CPR Foundation collaborated with theNew York Police Department's 24thPrecinct to organize their annual Back-toSchool Backpack Giveaway in August 2023.More than 300 children, who live within the24th Precinct, attended the event. Locallaw enforcement assisted in distributingthe backpacks and school supplies, whileothershelpedservefoodandrefreshments. In the last five years, the24th Precinct and some generouscommunity partners have organized thisevent, which has helped build betterrelations between the precinct and thecommunity. Many children from lowincome households have benefited fromthis program, and others like it.TheseCPRFoundation-sponsoredprograms have allowed kids and theirfamilies to interact with law enforcement ina positive and constructive way, therebystrengthening the bonds between theofficers and the local community.
