CPR Foundation Forms Informational Panel to Combat
Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation
In December 2023, the CPR Foundation was invited by DC Finance Florida Family Office &
High Net Worth Conference to host an informational session on human trafficking and child
exploitation.
A panel was formed by the CPR Foundation that consisted of several members, including
Detective Bernadette Maher from the Miami Beach Police Department, Assistant Director
Rosanna Cordero-Stutz from the Miami-Dade County Police Department, Special Agent
Ellen Kolos from the FBI, Founder Jessica Hylton of Promise Family Pantry, and Chief
Assistant State Attorney Stephen K. Talpins from the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's
Office.
The attendees gained a better understanding of human trafficking, the steps taken by local
government and law enforcement to address the issue, and how ordinary citizens can help
to detect and fight against human trafficking and child exploitation.
CPR Foundation Member-Appreciation Holiday Cocktail Party
The CPR Foundation arranged a holiday cocktail party in
December at Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante, located in Miami
Beach. It was an amazing evening, where we had the opportunity
to connect with members, donors, and community leaders. We
celebrated the significant accomplishments of 2023 while
socializing and enjoying ourselves.
The guests brought unwrapped toys to spread joy and happiness
during the holiday season for over 100 young boys and girls in
the community. Our sponsors included Sardinia Enoteca
Restaurant, Liquor Split, and 400 Conejos Mezcal, added to the
charm of the evening.
