The Community-Police Relations Foundation’s Inaugural Veteran’s Day
Charity Poker Tournament and Cocktail Party
On November 11, 2023, nearly two hundred notable
Miami figures and luminaries gathered at Ikonick
Motors to attend the Community-Police Relations
Foundation inaugural Veteran's Day Charity Poker
Tournament. The event was organized to benefit the
CPR Foundation and was chaired by Al Eskanazy, CPR
Foundation Chairman, and Barry Skolnick, CPR
Foundation Co-Chairman. Event Co-Chairs included
Peter Hochfelder, Marc Farbstein, Glenn Hechler, Jeff
Meshel, Scott Prince, and Bryan Sanders.
Retired U.S. Navy SEAL of Special Warfare, Lt.
Commander Kaj Larsen, began the tournament with a
heartfelt opening statement, expressing his gratitude
to our nation's heroes and honoring Veteran's Day.
The tournament was hosted by Michael Mizrachi, a
renowned American five-time World Series of Poker
champion, and the lively sounds of DJ IRIE.
The event was graced by distinguished hosts including
notable personalities from Miami like Lance Burstyn,
Joey Goldman, Dan Goodstadt, Kaizad Hansotia, Ruth
Katz, Greg Mirmelli, Sara Mirmelli, Greg Del Monte, Jay
Parker, Chuck Roberts, Marc Roberts, Daniella & Matt
Staver, Philippe Vasilescu, Ronny Vogel, Matthieu
Yamoum, David Zarco, Jason Zarco, and Gil Dezer.
In the Poker tournament, Gil Dezer's girlfriend, Natalie
Younan, showcased both skill and dedication by
clinching the top spot.

The poker tournament's top winners received:
• 1st place Natalia Younan: A ticket to the World Series
of Poker in Las Vegas, including first-class flights with
a luxury suite at Caesars Palace.
• 2nd place Alex Xakoustis: An 8-hour day cruise on a
70-ft Azimut Flybridge with ten guests.
• 3rd place Dan Goodstadt: A Ferrari Ghurka cigar
humidor.
