to community-oriented programs, which enhance

City of Miami Police Athletic League Football and Cheer Teams Start New
Year with Winter Wonderland Experience Supported by CPR Foundation
The CPR Foundation recently hosted a Winter Wonderland event for 21 Miami PAL cheerleaders and 19
Miami PAL football players from the 10U division to help them kick off the 2024 New Year. The CPR
Foundation remains committed to its support of field trips for children who participate in PAL programs,
providing a safe and structured environment where they can engage in recreational and educational
activities. These field trips offer opportunities for law enforcement officers to interact with children in a
positive and approachable manner, breaking down potential barriers and building trust with the community.
By exposing children to new experiences through field trips, they can broaden their horizons, instill a sense
of curiosity, and contribute to their overall personal development.
"Through such initiatives, the CPR Foundation ensures that children have fun and develop valuable life
skills and positive attitudes toward law enforcement, fostering a sense of community and cooperation." Major Um Set Ramos, Community Relations Section, City of Miami Police Department.
