UNDERGRADUATE EXCELLENCECollege of Education student Caleb Brownreceived the Martin Luther King Jr. Awardfor Excellence in Service at the 41st AnnualDr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.The award recognizes excellence inservice to the University or surroundingcommunity as well as advocacy for socialand environmental justice, areas involvedin advancing Dr. King’s vision of the“beloved community.”Brown was a secondary education majorbefore graduating in 2024, and he is acurrent teacher resident in the College ofEducation.
