Grant Funding
Oregon State Marine Board
High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA)
$432,825
$158,435
Funding from the Oregon State Marine Board is used to conduct
enforcement related to recreational boating in Oregon, including alerting
the public to unsafe boating conditions, providing search and rescue
services, and investigating complaints of boating law violations and
boating accidents.
The HIDTA mission is to facilitate, support, and enhance collaborative
drug control efforts among law enforcement agencies and community-based organizations, thus significantly reducing the impact of illegal
trafficking and the use of drugs throughout Oregon. Funding provided
under the HIDTA program assists the Clackamas County Inter-agency
Task Force (CCITF) with identifying, disrupting and dismantling drug
trafficking and money laundering operations.
Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT)
Workzone Enforcement
$400,000 over lifetime of agreement
This funding provides overtime reimbursement to our
Traffic Team while providing law enforcement services within work zones
where ODOT projects may disrupt traffic flow and increase the risk to
roadway workers.
Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT)
Safety Belt Enforcement
$10,000
CCSO will conduct safety belt overtime enforcement during periods
established by ODOT. This grant funding’s purpose is to maintain and increase compliance with the Oregon Motor Vehicle safety restraint laws.
