Chandrika Tandon is a Grammy-nominated artist and globally
recognized business leader with a stated mission to elevate human
happiness through music and education – for economic and
emotional well-being.
Her Shivoham – The Quest album, which premiered in a sold-out
concert at the Kennedy Center, is an oratorio describing her own
path to finding the light. In addition, she has released three albums
(Soul Call, Soul March, Soul Mantra) focused on the ancient
wisdom of India, and conducted numerous benefit concerts on
world stages. Ammu’s Treasures is her fifth work of art.
Her economic well-being efforts are focused on higher education,
in particular STEM. Chandrika currently holds numerous
leadership roles at New York University and the NYU Tandon
School of Engineering. Her awards and recognitions include the
Gallatin Medal, the Walter Nichols Medal, and the Polytechnic
Medal. She was inducted into the Horatio Alger Society of
Distinguished Americans and the American Academy of Arts
and Sciences (AMACAD), has received the Ellis Island Medal
of Honor, and has been profiled in print and on television,
including CNBC’s The Brave Ones series.
