MEET THE NEW NEIGH-BAA'S
“The ewes are settling in well,
bringing character to the
community and sustainably
maintaining green spaces,
whilst helping to promote a
more eco-friendly environment.
We are excited for our residents
to get to know them.”

Manningtree’s newest neigh-baas have had their
first visitors
Little Pumpkins, the local Manningtree nursery, warmly welcomed the new
arrivals with an introduction by Faye. She shared fun facts about the mixed
herd of Portland, Manx, and Hebridean sheep, some of which she personally
reared, allowing the children to feel sheep horn samples. The kids engaged in a
creative session, drawing their own sheep and inventing names. Three winning
names—'Fluff' by Eleanor, 'Pumpkin' by Polly, and 'Teddy' by Archie—were
engraved onto collars and placed on toy sheep for the young winners to take
home, adding a touch of creativity to their visit.
City & Country loves any chance to get involved with the local community –
especially when the results are so creative. With so much open, green space
